Updating your TrilbyTV Player Apps

We regularly update our TrilbyTV apps with new features and bug fixes. Details of the latest changes can be found on our Release Notes page.

If you have installed TrilbyTV Player via the App store on your device updates will normally be applied automatically a few days after they are released.

Updating TrilbyTV Player for iOS

• Open the App Store on your device and tap the Profile icon.
• Scroll down to see updates, or swipe down to refresh the list
• If there is an update available for TrilbyTV Player, tap the Update button and wait for it to install.
• When finished, relaunch the app to resume playback

Updating TrilbyTV Player for Apple TV

• Open the App Store on your Apple TV and select the Recently Updated tab.
• Find TrilbyTV Player from the list of thumbnails and select it.
• Scroll to the Update button and select it.
• When finished, relaunch the app to resume playback.

Updating TrilbyTV Player for macOS

• Close the TrilbyTV Player app
• Open the App Store from the Dock or Apple menu and click the Updates tab.
• If there is an update available for TrilbyTV Player, click the Update button and wait for it to install.
• When finished, relaunch the app to resume playback

Updating TrilbyTV Player for Windows

The Windows App Store usually automatically updates apps during startup, but if you need to manually update:

• Close the TrilbyTV Player app
• Open the Windows Store on your device and click your profile photo, then click Downloads and Updates.
• Click Check for Updates, then update TrilbyTV Player
• When finished, relaunch the app to resume playback

We recommend you download from the Microsoft Store, but if this isn't available, you can install the MSI manually. Please take a look at the related articles below for more information and links.

Updating TrilbyTV Player for Android/Chrome via Play Store

• Open the Play Store on your device
• Go to the menu and select My Apps
• Tap the Updates tab and click Update next to TrilbyTV Player

Updating TrilbyTV Player for Amazon FireTV

Amazon FireTV typically automatically updates during device restarts, but to check manually:

• Highlight the TrilbyTV Player icon on the Home tab.
• Press the Menu button on your remote and select More Info
• If an update is available, you will see Update. Click to do this, or if you're up to date it will just say Open.

Updating other Android-based devices

We recommend downloading from the Google Play Store, but if this is unavailable, you may find it on your device's app store or install the APK manually. Please take a look at the related articles below for more information and links.
