Firewalls and Filtering
If you are unable to connect to TrilbyTV or TrilbyTV Player or having issues with accessing the TrilbyTV website, viewing content, or if you are unable to get a Player code, your network may be blocking access to some of the TrilbyTV systems.
If you have such issues, please contact your IT department and ask them to whitelist or unblock access to the TrilbyTV domains listed below, allowing access on ports 443 and 80.
- *.trilbytv.co.uk (this is preferred as new domains may be added in the future)
- trilbytvmedia.blob.core.windows.net
If you must specify a full domain then please use the following, but be aware that these may change and additional sub-domains may be added over time.
- app.trilbytv.co.uk
- api.trilbytv.co.uk
- auth.trilbytv.co.uk
- cdn.trilbytv.co.uk
- api-web.trilbytv.co.uk
- offload.trilbytv.co.uk
- trilbytvmedia.blob.core.windows.net
Additional Content
If you add web content to your TrilbyTV, you may also need to whitelist the websites you add so they don't get blocked.
If you use Google Slide and Twitter content some images and information will be shared directly from the Google and Twitter servers in which case you will need to unblock:
- *.googleusercontent.com
- *.twimg.com
Additionally, if you add our Vocabulary Ninja, Black Pioneers or WebThings (part of our Content Catalogue), you may also need to unblock:
- ninja.trilbytv.co.uk
- things.trilbytv.co.uk
- stacks.trilbytv.co.uk
Optional
We use Google Firebase for crash reporting and analysis. You can optionally whitelist:
- fcm.googleapis.com
- gcm-http.googleapis.com
- accounts.google.com
- trilbytv-player-android.firebaseio.com
- trilbytv-player-ios-tvos.firebaseio.com
- trilbytv-is.firebaseio.com
to enable this reporting to us. Blocking this does not impact the use of the apps.
